Encouraging constructional change

So, we know that old sails can be recycled and reused but fundamentally, the very nature of sail composition, construction and their creation needs to transform so that sail material can be more effectively deconstructed, reclaimed, recycled and reused, all with as little waste as possible. 

This is what will really help advance the sustainability of sails and sailmaking.

The second core element of ReSail is where we are working is comes into focus and where we are working with our sailmaker friends to help develop the knowledge, awareness and action required to encourage constructional change.
